The East Kentwood boys track team capped off an unbelievable season with a solid showing at the Nike Team Nationals in Eugene, Ore.

The Falcons ended up in seventh place Friday night with 7,309.76 points in a deacthalon-style scoring system at Hayward Field on the campus of Oregon University. Vista Marietta (Cal.) won the team championships with 7,797.18 points.

A total of eight athletes ran for East Kentwood, all seniors per Michigan High School Athletic Association rules.
